‘Linden Farm’ is one of our highest end projects to date, transforming an existing country style homestead into an expansive modern pavilion style home.

Designed by Tziallas Architects, the alteration & addition incorporated the use of complimentary materials such as recycled brick, weatherboard, natural hardwood timber and corrugated iron.

The existing north-westerly wing was demolished making way for a new open plan kitchen, living & lounge room designed to take full advantage of the spectacular views over the Wingecarribee Reservoir.

Retaining very little of the original footprint, the existing roofline was reconstructed to match the new 40 degree pitch on the pavilion wing.

Combining minimalist styling with function, the one-piece mitered Heka Hood awning system was used to wrap around the façade providing sophisticated protection from the elements.

Hardwood decking wraps around nearly the entire circumference of the house, allowing you to enjoy seasonal changes throughout the year.

A select colour palette was thoughtfully created to highlight the various materials, integrating the existing and the new elements of the home.

Another key feature of the project were the hardwood pergolas incorporating electric aluminium louvres which put our boys’ physical & mental strength to the test.

Internal features include raked ceilings, detailed oak joinery throughout the kitchen with the perfect touch of stainless steel for the benchtops, brick chimney construction featuring integrated picture window seat and dark honey engineered oak flooring.

We love the use of recycled brick, weatherboard, natural hardwood and corrugated iron to compliment the surrounding landscape.
